Sprout home is a nursery and home goods hybrid that believes home and garden should have a modern edge. They offer an amazing plant selection ranging from succulents to orchids, as well as a unique gift collection. The best part about Sprout is that they are so willing to help anyone keep their plants alive- regardless of where they were purchased. Something that I have been considering lately is their terrarium class. Since I can't keep any real plants alive I am thinking this might be my best bet. You can find this lovely shop in Ukrainian Village (745 N Damen Avenue Chicago, IL 60622). They also have a second location in Brooklyn if your into that whole New York thing.  I have a lot of friends who love this place so I asked them to describe it in three words:

Kristina: Urban, Eclectic, Garden-y
Mo: Modern, Hip, Very Nice
Marissa: Expert, Eclectic, Exotic

If that doesn't make you want to go, I don't know what will!

  1. Oh my gosh, this place looks amazing! In Seattle we have a plant store called The Palm Room that owns my heart. It's amazing.

  4. I've been trying to find a place in the NW burbs that still has plants for a mini indoor herb garden! Might have to trek my butt into the Ukrainian Village. I love the little succulents in the round vases/jars.
