there is just something about this old photo that makes my heart swoon.
it might be how adorable my baby brother is. it might be how intently kendall is staring at his cracker. it might be the lunchables- a wahnschaffe favorite. it might be my mothers bangs and her striking beauty. it might be the dress my mom is wearing because i later made it into a skirt in high school. it might be the grainy quality of image. it might be the plaid sunflower shirt sprinkled with puff paint. it might be this small insignificant moment. it might be the chambray top before it was known as chambray. it might be the old picnic blanket stored in the closet. it might be the bowl cut. it might be the scrunchie.
whatever it is i am smitten.
Oh I love this - old photos are so special! I've scanned a whole collection onto my computer so I can look at them when I'm feeling homesick.
