9/11

6th grade. 

I woke up every morning and listened to the Jackie and Bender morning show while I was getting ready. This morning I was really confused. They kept talking about a plane. And smoke.

I went up stairs and my mom had the news on. I didn't eat breakfast that morning. I went to school and the news was on all day. There was talk that the Space Needle might be next. 

What a day to have lived through. Remember 9/11. I am so proud to be a part of this country. The Unites States is the best place in the world and I am so grateful for the men and women who fight for us to keep it that way.
