A Year.

Sunday, July 29, 2012

One year ago today I sat on a chair in my kitchen having my make up done.
I was texting you.
It was the day of our wedding.
You told me that you were nervous.
I had been nervous for weeks.
Excited. But nervous. This decision was forever.
For brief moment I was scared.
Then you called me.
You told me that you loved me.
You told me that everything was going to be all right.
I believed you.
I wanted to spend my whole life believing you.
We went to the temple separately.
You were very late.
It didn't matter.
When you arrived your eyes met mine.
That smirk of yours lit up your entire face.
We entered the temple and were sealed for time and all eternity.
You told me that I looked beautiful.
We kissed.
Then you fist pumped the air.
I was in a white ball gown.
My heart was full.
I was grateful.
I was happy.

A year has passed now.
An entire year.

How I have changed.
How you have changed.
How I love you more than I ever thought possible.
How you make me better.
How you love me.
How you make me laugh.
How you take care of me.
How you support me.
How you think about me.
How you pray for me.
How you are always there.
How I get to love you forever.

Oh- How I love you Michael.
Happy one year.
