H jetted off this morning to a wonderfully cool place, I'll let her tell the details when she comes back. For now, let's look at these last pretty leaves of fall and get excited for wool socks and curling up by the wood stove.
My grandma keeps this taped on her cupboard in the kitchen, and though it's a little late for it, I still wanted to share.

Crimson the apples, and orange the leaves.
Mists on the hilltops,
clouds grey and white.
