Real life isn't like the movies.

Today the boy and I went to the movies. The 3 dollar movie to be exact. As we went in we were having words about a certain dinner fiasco. I was what  you would call "in a tiff." As we sat in our seats the boy leans over and says, "Would you like the ticket stubs for your journal?" I look at him, he knows my weakness I thought, with my icy heart melting a little and said, "Yes I would." The movie begins. Hanna. I am on the brink of a heart attack. Boy proceeds to put his arm around me and explain the scary parts while I shield my eyes, scratch my back when I lean forward, kiss my hand at sporadic intervals, and let me squeeze his hand really hard during the chase scenes. I fight it. I want to stay annoyed (why? cause I am dumb), but it's impossible. The movie ends. The dinner fiasco is forgotten. We leave the movie theater and go buy bananas at the grocery store. He then walks me out to my car, banana in hand, and says, "I love you and I can't wait to see you tomorrow." He kisses me on the cheek, hands me my late night dinner, and walks back towards his apartment.

Maybe living here in Idaho is going to be much more exciting than I thought.
