Oh this is love.

Tonight my love and I decided to get a little culture. We went and saw Love's Labor's Lost at BYU- a Shakespeare play set in the 1940s. Below you will find a trailer. Often I find that if I haven't read up on Shakespeare before I go see it I get a little lost. The language is rich and full of things we don't understand in modern day tongue today. This was no exception, but here is the jist on this show. It is fabulous. Fun. Full of dancing and laughter.

The director's inspiration was her grandparents. They met at a dance when he was on leave from the military during World War II. A few dances later they were married and she waited years for him to come home.

You could sense the love that went into the play. The careful finesse that all the actors took in order to make Shakespeare make sense. A live band played on stage. Instead of Intermission there had a big band dance where the audience could get up on stage with the actors. It was just a great time.

I love theater.  If you are in Provo get tickets and go have a good time.

  3. I've heard this show is really good! I will have to go and see it. And oh my gosh, did you buy that bicycle below? It is BEAUTIFUL! I am pretty sure that this spring/ summer I am in desperate need of a bicycle WITH A BASKET! Looks perfect!

So fun to meet you at the blogger meet up. I don't care what anyone says, the whole concept is just awkward. "Let's put a bunch of people who have only met on the itnernet in a room together and see if they can be socially normal." Um... yah. We can't.

    Keep in touch!
