I didn't originally either...but the opportunity presented itself. I just smushed it in his mouth. It was fun :D And...our prevention originally was to have chocolate covered strawberries (best idea ever!!!)
Well I got a white cake just in case he did smash it wouldn't ruin my dress. just fyi because you never know what those brand new husbands are really thinking anyways. Plus I told him not to smash and then I smashed it in his face and now a year later I am wishing that I had let him because it would have made for more fun of pictures.
