green is the new pink.

Leah introduced me to my new favorite treat. You must try it.
healthy + delightful = win win win.

I use Silk just because I'm in the habit, but regular milk works just fine.
Water would probably also work if you're looking for fewer calories, it just wouldn't be as creamy.
You choose!

Step two is the secret ingredient: spinach.
I stuff it full -- don't be afraid to; you can't taste it.

Then, depending on desired flavor, just add whatever you want.
There are endless possibilities.
I like to put in a spoonful or two of orange juice concentrate to make it taste like Orange Julius.

I always add half or more of a banana and a handful of ice cubes.
Other options: any kind of frozen fruit {peaches, strawberries, berries}, vanilla, yogurt, fresh fruit, peanut butter {tastes good with strawberry/banana}, protein powder.

Blend it all up, and you have...

A smoothie the color of freshly mowed grass --
and it's filling,
delightfully healthy,
and tastes like an Orange Julius.

There you have it.
