“Don’t you know that you are working at the place that published some of the greatest artists of the century? Halston, Lagerfeld, de la Renta. And what they did, what they created was greater than art because you live your life in it.”
– The Devil Wears Prada
You guys. I am in the middle of a clothing rut. I have way too many clothes, but I always feel like I have nothing to wear. I should de-junk, but I can't seem to part with anything. It's almost ridiuclous. As a matter of fact I think it is. I need help.
Suggestions?

solved.
I find the best inspiration from surfing blogs and style mags and identifying things that I own that could work. People keep posting about chambray -- and I just realized that I have a chambray tunic in my closet that I bought at Target two years ago. I don't wear it much, but I am going to wear it today!
ReplyDeleteTime for categorizing!!! Put everything in a category: this can range from basics that you always wear, fun color outfits, dresses, skirts, blouses, accessories, denim, etc. Keep the basics of course! Then put things from each category into piles of colors. Which colors do you wear more? Which is more appropriate for the season? I always whittle down my style options that way :) Then again...I AM a minimalist. I would probably wear the same pair skinny jeans over and over again just as long as I washed them :D
