I am right in the throws of #ootdeverydaymay. Remeber last year how I took an outfit photo on insta everyday for the month of may? Well it's back! I love how it captures what I am acutally wearing in the everyday. No posed outfit posts with unrealistic heels or accessories. Just met in my everyday comfy get up. Join in if you would like! And speaking of comfy... this Sonnet James dress feels like wearing pajamas but makes you look like a million bucks. I think I need five more in different colors.

what harley wore: ootd may wrap up

you probably thought that i forgot about this here challenge, but i didn't. it just took me a little bit longer than anticipated to round up all of these here photos. so here is my ootd may round up... at the end of june. 

at the end of april i decided to do something a little crazy - take a picture of my outfit everyday for the entire month of may on instagram. you can see a few that i posted on the blog here. 

overall i would say that the challenge was a definite success and i think i have learned a little bit about my personal style. and i bet you can figure out what my favorite pose is... hand on the hip ready go!

my top five outfit choices are 1, 4, 8, 16, and 24. which one is you favorite? sometimes i feel like i dress cute, but other time i feel so... not put together. i'm like "why can't i just look classy!"

a HUGE thank you to all of those that participated. I loved having you and it was a blast getting to know more bloggers out there! :) if anyone else did an ootd everyday may wrap up let me know and i'll include a link in the blog post.

Or going to be soon and I'm super excited about it. Michael and I flew down to Florida today to meet up with my family for a vacation celebrating my brother's high school graduation.

I had all these plans and things I was going to accomplish before I left tomorrow, but the precious moments with my family have been too sweet to be able to think about anything else. Church, work, and this little blog are going to have to wait while I make some serious memories. Hope you have a fabulous Memorial Day weekend! And a big thank you to all of those have served our beloved country. I so appreciate it!

i wore this to see the great gatsby on a blustery saturday afternoon. i quite liked the movie. michael and i both read the book before we went to see it. look for a book review soon.

yesterday i was totally sick. soar throat. achy. i spent the whole day watching hulu and doing laundry-- in between my naps of course. then by some miracle i woke up this morning healed! welcome back to the fully functioning adult world. i definitely didn't take a picture of my outfit yesterday... but i'll give you a hint... it consisted of pajama shorts and a sweater. sexy right? my outfit today is much more appealing i think.

i hereby dub this the church outfit. the skirt is mighty long so i never have to worry about pulling it down and it is super comfortable.

Translation: Outfit of the Day - Every Day in May

So here is what I am thinking- For the month of may I would like to capture my outfits daily via instagram. I feel like instagram is a really casual way to take pictures of every single outfit I wear-- instead of just the ones that I feature on the blog. 

Then after thirty days I will compile all of those little instagram photos into one giant blog link up and that every one can participate in.
