Milo Greene just came to my work and played a live show. They were incredible. I wanted to crawl into their guitar case and become a groupie. The vocal harmonies are out of this world and I think they might be better live. How often can you say that?

That Time I Saw James Vincent Mcmorrow

He is just so good live.
I saw him at the Chicago concert series at Millenium park.
The concert was free. I have no idea why it wasn't packed.
I really respect a man that kills it when all he has is his voice and guitar.
Oh and I did I mention that he is Irish?
At one point he went off on a tangent talking about how he had seen Seal perform earlier that week.
He said it was like a concert straight from 1995. 
"If Seal would have played Ordinary Brother over and over again it would have been the best show ever. But he didn't so it wasn't."
After the concert I stood in line with a bunch of teenage girls to buy his cd.
You should too. It's on iTunes. If you regret purchasing the CD feel free to email me your complaints. I will then route them to the Easter bunny because IT IS NOT POSSIBLE NOT TO LIKE IT.

Today...

Had to leave the house by 6:30am in order to catch the 6:50am train in order to be at the office by 8:30am for a meeting that didn't actually start until 9:15am. 

My intern team got a $100 gift card for winning a scavenger hunt.

Got complimented on my outfit by the man taking my order at Freshii. "Your shirt and glasses and pants. The whole outfit just really works."

Decided that I am going to see Brave tonight. By myself. 

Had a cup of hot chocolate even though it is 100 Degrees outside. 

Going out for Drinks today- I plan on getting a diet coke with lemon AND lime. Just to spice things up. 

The huge zit that was moonlighting as my third eye finally decided to start shrinking today. 

Watched a million advertisements.  This one was cool. 

Coping

Music makes it a little bit easier. I got myself a guitar and have been doing a little writing. We'll see how it goes. This girl is some good inspiration.
